Job Title: Head of Production

Job Description

•   Stable and verifiable experience in roofing and production management
•   Three years or more of experience in the roofing/kitchenware field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in roofing/kitchenware.
•   Provide direction in the planning coordination and control of company’s manufacturing processes
•   Responsible for drawing up production schedules and overseeing its processes
•   Establishing minimum and maximum production levels in relation to market demand
•   Monitor to ensure that the agreed production process is duly developed and followed and also established systems for related to production
•   Develop and maintain systems to measure performance against established standards
•   Established and implement necessary communication strategy for the improvement and awareness quality issues across all departments
•   Report of necessary changes in standards (internally externally and initiated) and on perform against standards
•   Liaise and co-operate with quality management and standards bodies

Qualifications Required & Experience

•   Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty
•   Must possess good communication and presentation skills and have a keen eye for detail
•   Minimum one (1) to three (3) years of roofing/kitchenware industry experience with emphasis on all facets of business including but not limited to customer relations, knowledge of roofing materials, techniques and requirements
•   Knowledge on various roofing systems and manufacturers
•   Ability to read blue prints and job specifications.
•   Must be able to meet deadlines
•   Must be computer literate
•   Must have a valid driving license
•   Must possess a good First degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution and at least two (2) years post qualification working experience OR
•   A minimum of HND In Mechanical Engineering and at least three (3) years post qualification relevant working experience
