We are a Christian Development NGO involved in interventions in Child Rights, Health & Sanitation, Women Empowerment and Education & Development in mainly rural Ghana. We need dynamic, transformational and results-oriented team leader (Headteacher) for immediate employment in our basic schools in Amrahia, in the Adentan Municipality and Kpogede in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

He/She, among others things

•    Provides day-to-day educational leadership for the school
•    Carries out the school's broad educational mission and policies as established by the school management committee.
•    Establishes productive working conditions, discipline, training, and development, of all staff.
•    Actively supports the school's fund-raising efforts
•    Implements GES curricula for all subjects taught by the school.
•    Ensures an effective community - school relationship
•    Organises activities of para -academic nature, formal cultural exposures and athletics, sufficient to cover the school's academic programme and provide for student interest development.

Qualification Required & Experience

•    A bachelor's degree in education or a post- graduate diploma in education from a recognised university.
•    Post- qualification experience of at least five (5) years
•    Must have taught for at least ten (10) years
•    Computer Literate-MS Word, MS -Excel, MS- PowerPoint
