A leading Oil field services company is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill in following vacancy Health, Safety And Environmental Officer is their Takoradi operational base.

Main Responsibilities

•   To ensure the respect and compliance with HSE policies, procedures and requirements. To maintain and assure the correct implementation of company HSE systems.
•   To be in charge of the investigation, review and analysis of incidents and accidents making recommendations and implementing corrective actions
•   Ensure that frequent emergency exercises and drills are conducted to ensure the highest level of preparedness in case of emergency.
•   Maintain records of such drills, providing recommendation for emergency response improvements.
•   Carries out regular inspections of fire fighting, safety and emergency response equipment / facilities / procedures
•   Supervise on site doctors and medical emergency response preparation and implementation
•   Monitoring and evaluation of health, safety and environmental systems
•   Ensure that operations employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions
•   Responsible for preparing written field HSE reports and statistics on a regular basis (daily, weekly, monthly as required)

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must be able to work independently
•   Must have an engineering / Technical bachelor's degree
•   Should have 3 - 5 years experience
•   Good degree of Computer literacy in Microsoft office
•   Good fluency in spoken and written English
•   High level of professional and personal integrity
•   Ability to be a team player, frequent interaction with other disciplines and third parties
•   Should have and show initiative, proactive, positive attitude and ability to work effectively with people from multiple cultures and background.
