A reputable hostel in Kumasi is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for immediate employment as: Hostel Manager

Key Responsibilities

•   Manage the hostel, restaurant and conference facilities
•   Handle the day-to-day management of the hostel and other facilities under the policy guidance
•   Prepare and present an annual bugdet of the hostel to the Board for approval
•   Maintain and update records of the company
•   Prepare, compile and submit monthly, quarterly and annual management, financial and operational reports to the Board
•   Supervise staff and handle all staff related matters
•   Set control mechanisms to ensure cost effective operations of the hostel
•   Ensure full compliance with regulations in the hospitality industry

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A relevant first degree / HND in Hostel & Tourism or Business Administration with management and / or accounting options
•   Have at least 5 years relevant experience at management level in the hospitality industry
•   Must be computer literate, competent in database management and coordination of different departments
•   Proven leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills with high level of integrity
•   Capable of working under pressure and liaising with major stakeholders
