A leading pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a dynamic, results oriented and self-motivated person to join our team:

JOB PURPOSE
The HR assistant is responsible for providing administrative and human resource
Support in an effective and efficient manner to support the HR and other Departments.

DUTIES

•   Provide administrative support to ensure that the HR operations are maintained in an efficient and effective and accurate manner.
•   Ensure prompt distribution of office stationary under the direction of Head of Human Resource
•   Maintain confidential records and files  in respect to client, staff and agency information
•   Maintain office calendar to coordinate work flow at all times
•   Organize and provide support during internal staff durbars, meetings and training sessions etc.
•   Ensure good housekeeping and general office maintenance
•   Organize the HR calendar
•   Prepare and monitor staff annual leave
•   Issue and monitor staff hospital attendance
•   Monitor staff daily attendance record and provide monthly report on staff attendance (absenteeism, annual leave, permissions and hospital attendance
•   Assist in the Recruitment and Selection of employees
•   Facilitate in the orientation of new employees to ensure that they are integrated in the business
•   Liaise with external business contacts on Human Resource issues (provident fund, medical insurance, security issues) to ensure that agreements are abided and effective services are rendered to the staff and the company as a whole.
•   Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

•   Ability to deal with all manner of people especially at the senior level
•   Ability to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential or sensitive matters
•   Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi task and organize others
•   Attention to details and able to meet deadlines
•   Ms. Word, excel and power point presentation

Qualification required and experience

•   A first degree in Human Resource Management or a related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
