Our client is a leading independent Oil and Gas Exploration and Production company with a focused portfolio on world-class assets in West Africa, East Africa and South America

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the below position:- Human Resources Advisor

Job Purpose
To develop, communicate and facilitate best practice policies and procedures to the company and to provide HR support services to Accra and Takoradi based Group functions

Key Responsibilities

•   Providing staffing and recruitment support
•   Support talent management initiatives
•   Supporting management of performance culture across the organisation
•   Facilitating compensation process and benefits administration
•   Providing support Managers to create a climate that engage employees
•   Managing employees relations and coordinate employee engagement activities
•   Manage business specific activities
•   Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's HR systems

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
•   Minimum of five (5) years working experience in Human Resource Management in a customer-focused business environment
•   Related professional qualifications and membership of a recognized Human Resource body such as CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP (Ghana)
•   Good knowledge of local and appreciation of local and international labour legislation
•   Numerate with strong IT / Analytic skills
•   Strong communication skills

Skills

•   Experience of leading recruitment / resourcing activities
•   Working knowledge of Ghanaian employment law and a fair appreciation of international employment law / issues
•   Strong personal customer service orientation and ability to come up with creative / innovative ideas
