Job Description

HVAC Engineer is required to:

•   Design, install and maintain systems such as ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning, central heating, among others
•   Work on VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume), VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow), multi-split and split systems
•   Design and installation of dusts, (ALP, Galvanished sheets)
•   Plumbing design
•   Provide technical information to clients
•   Inspect air conditioning systems
•   Diagnose & Troubleshoot faulty equipment
•   Supervise craft workers & technicians

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have a minimum of a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institution
•   Must have at least 3 years of working experience
•   Must have leadership abilities & work without supervision
•   Must be able to read technical drawings
•   Plumbing design will be an added advantage
•   Ability to use Autocard and selection software in design
•   Must have good written and spoken communication skills
•   Must have interpersonal abilities
•   Must be able to meet deadlines
•   Must have knowledge about national legislation on refrigerants
•   Must be aware of safety issues
