We are a rapidly growing healthcare company and we are presently seeking enthusiastic, experienced, self-motivated Insurance Claims Officer to join a dynamic team in our Pharmacy.

Main Purpose

•   The job holder will concentrate largely on preparing claim forms and billing Insurance Companies and Corporate Clients.

Main Responsibilities

•   Prepare and submit claims forms to insurance companies and corporate clients.
•   Follow up on unpaid and/or queried claim forms.
•   Process rejections by correcting and resubmitting claims to the insurance company and/or corporate client.
•   Work with all Physicians to ensure that the correct diagnosis/procedures are being followed in filling the claim forms.
•   Keep updates on all billings to insurance companies and corporate claims
•   Monitoring claims for missing information and authorizations
•   Complete all claims by the authorized date.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Education: HND Dispensing Technologist or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
•   Competencies: Must possess knowledge in accounting, oral and written communication, paying attention to detail, be computer literate and must be able to think logically and follow procedures and instructions.

Work Experience

•   Minimum of two year working experience in a related position.
