Department: Security Section
Reports to: Head of Security
Direct Reports (Subordinates): Officers below incumbent rank

Duties:

•   Provide information on day to day activities on campus and its surroundings
•   Provide leadership and direction for the intelligence unit
•   Supervise and train staff of the intelligence unit.
•   Maintain liaison with other security agencies and networks on campus and nationwide.
•   Assist the Head of Security to prevent crime on campus and protect life and property.
•   Submit intelligence report periodically to University management.
•   Be ready to perform any other tasks that may be assigned by Management.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must be an Ex-serviceman of the Ghana Armed Forces or the Ghana Police Service of the rank of a Warrant Officer or its equivalent.
•   Must possess a relevant professional qualification.
•   A degree will be an added advantage.
•   Must present a Discharge Book.

Age Limit: Applicants must not be more than 50 years

Required Skills
Crime detection, Monitoring, Supervision, Intelligence gathering, Report writing, Planning and Communication skills and Interpersonal relations.
