A reputable financial institution in the Central Region of Ghana seeks to recruit a highly skilled and self-motivated: Internal Auditor

Reports To: The Board of Directors through the Board Chairman

Job Summary

• Reporting to the Board Chairman the person would be responsible for monitoring and ensuring full compliance with all internal controls, laid down policies and procedures of the institution.
• The Internal Auditor would also review and recommend to management and the Board for consideration improvements in the effectiveness of the institutions internal controls
• The person would also liaise with the institution's external auditors and other industry regulators
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Board from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

• BSc (Accounting) or Bachelor of commerce from a recognized institution
• Possession a Master's degree or a related professional certificate would be an added advantage

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as an internal auditor of a Bank or a financial institution
