A reputable Rural Bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking qualified personnel for the following key position:- Internal Auditor

Key Responsibility

•   Protect the integrity of the Bank by ensuring that it operates in accordance with legal and regulatory retirements and promote compliance in the manner in which banking is conducted
•   Ensure that internal control department meets regularly requirements and best practices at all times
•   Conduct timely periodic reviews, identify delays in reviews of any, ensure effectiveness of such reviews and ensure that corrective action is taken as needed
•   Identify and report potential risk exposures within the bank and recommend mitigating controls to prevent or minimise such potential exposures
•   Reviews and appraise soundness, effectiveness and proper application of accounting and financial controls, compliance procedures and control and timeliness of documentation generation

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Relevant First degree with 8 years Banking experience, four(4) of which should be in a senior management position or
•   MBA in Finance/Accounting with (5) five years Banking experience, three(3) of which should be in a senior management position or
•   Professional qualification, ACIB, ACCA, ICA (GH) / Working experience in Auditing will be an advantage

Requirements

•   Should possess track skills in Banking operations especially in Auditing accounts, credits and prudential returns
•   Reviewing, analysing and interpreting management reports to the Board of Directors
•   Must have skills in reporting writing
•   Must have extensive working knowledge in T.24 software
•   Must be conversant with BOG prudential returns
•   Applicant should not less than 40 years of age
