A dynamic and progressive deposit taking non-banking financial institution is urgently seeking to employ a suitable resource to fill the position of:- Internal Control Manager

Main Responsibility

•   Responsible for the development and implementation of internal control systems for the institution

Summary of duties

•   Ensure the employees follow all policies by providing coaching and training and surprise audits or inspections.
•   Analyse the bank's systems, procedures and rules
•   Identify weaknesses in the bank's systems and working with leadership to make necessary revisions
•   To conduct snap checks on all departmental activities
•   To conduct investigations into frauds detected before other inspectors come in

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have obtained the relevant academic qualifications (minimum of first degree in Accounting / Finance or Banking (CA, ACCA, ICAG, etc) with at least five (5) years post qualification experience
•   Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
•   Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
•   Must essentially be a team player
•   Good knowledge of Financial Administration Act FAA, 2003
•   Practicing knowledge Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2003, Act 663
•   Computer literate and ability to use accounting software
•   Must be able to pay attention to details and have analytical and problem solving acumen
•   Experience in the Banking / Financial Sector is a key requirement
