A leading general insurance company is looking to recruit an Internal Motor Assessor. The position reports to the Head of Material Damage Claims

Key Responsibilities

•   Assess the damage and liability of accident vehicles
•   Issue repair authority to motor repairers
•   Prepare assessment reports
•   Re-inspect vehicles
•   Issues release letters to repairers
•   Vet motor vehicles
•   Handle customer enquiries and complaints relating to motor accident repairs

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specification

•   An HND or a Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (technician Part 2) with three (3) years relevant work experience
•   Good working knowledge in vehicle accident assessment and vehicle claims recovery
•   Computer knowledge – Microsoft office
•   Possession of a valid driving license (will be an added advantage)
•   Experience in salvage assessment and recovery
•   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
