Job Description

YPWAL will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the Offshore Cape Three Points FPSO for enighana. YPWAL will be hiring for various positions for the unit, which will commence operations offshore Ghana in 2017.

Mission:

•   Ensuring proper and continuous functioning of gas compression with minimum downtime.

Scope:

•   Maintenance and monitoring of gas compressors skids and auxiliary topside equipment.
•   The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description

Duties:

•   Liaise with Storekeeper and SMTE for spare parts inventory
•   Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System
•   Report any hazardous situation and equipment failure to SMTE and MSUP
•   Keep record of repairs, adjustments and the use of spare parts
•   Follow Permit to Work Responsible for carrying out routine safety checks on equipment as required by the SMTE
•   Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
•   On-the-job-training of colleagues and trainees
•   Member of Emergency Response Team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Essential Criteria -  to meet the requirements for certification as an officer in charge of an engineering watch in manned engine-room STCW  code A-III/1.
•   5 years’ experience on the offshore installations or gas tankers.
•   Standard of competence according to Yinson Competence Assurance Matrix.
•   Very good written and spoken English.
