The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is seeking for qualified and experienced professionals to fill the under mentioned vacancy at the Ghana Boundary Commission.

Job Title: Land Surveyor

Job Purpose

• To advise and draw strategies to operationlise the plans and programmes of the commission

Main Duties

• Plan, organise and direct work to determine precise locations and measurement of lands
• Conduct research on previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence and other records for analysis and advise the coordinator
• Develop new data from photogrammetric records
• Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey controls
• Collate and analyse information from other land sector agencies, research institutions, the security agencies, individuals/ chiefs, communities and international bodies
• Advise on all land demarcations regarding precise location, measurement of points elevations, lines, areas, contours for construction, mapmaking, land division, titles, economic exploitation or other purposes
• Undertake any other duties that may be assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience of which at least 4 years must be in a senior management level
• A member of a relevant and recognised professional body
