Job Vacancy For Learning and Development Officer / Training Officer



Our client, three Star Hotel situated in Accra is currently looking to hire a proactive learning and development officer/training officer to support their operation.

ROLE PROFILE

Selected candidate will be responsible for equipping staff with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out work-related tasks. The Training officer will also be responsible for helping with ongoing, long-term improvement of employees’ skills, enabling them to fulfil their potential within their organisation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Assess key business objective and develop learning strategies accordingly
•   Review and amend training programs to be delivered to all operation hotel departments
•   Devise departmental orientation and monitor on the job training
•   Identify training needs and competency gaps so as to design, develop and implement learning & development plans and to determine core skills training to enhance the competency levels.
•   Liaise with relevant organizations/regulators in relation to training requirements
•   Implement training schedules
•   Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Degree holder in human resources, hospitality/Tourism management or related discipline

EXPERIENCE

•   3 to 5 years relevant experience from a 3 or 4 star hotel with at least 3 years in a similar challenging position

REQUIREMENT

•   Good presentation, administration and interpersonal skills
•   Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
•   Hotel experience a plus
