Highlights of Main Task and Responsibilities

It will be the responsibility of the legal officer to:

•   Advise Management on legal issues and any other related matters
•   Provide legal representation in cases referred to the legal department
•   Give legal opinion on matters referred from various departments
•   Conduct legal research on court cases
•   Assist the claims department in the determination and settling of insurance claims
•   Assist the company lawyer in the performance of his/her duties
•   Assist in recovery of debts
•   Assist in comprehensive subrogation recovery

Qualification Required & Experience

•   The person must have been called to the Ghana Bar
•   Must have 2 or 3 years post qualification experience
•   Knowledge in insurance or experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantage

Remuneration: Attractive and negotiable
