A reputable micro-finance company seeks the services of a results and goal-oriented individual to join our team as a LOAN MONITORING OFFICER

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

•   To monitor credit loan exposures and settlement to address Non Performing Loans Recovery.
•   To visit loan clients and  report on repayment pursuit

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

•   To carry out weekly visits to SME loan clients and monitor assigned portfolio
•   To carry out a demand visit to defaulting SME loan clients 24 hours after default
•   To monitor repayments and adherence to payback agreements
•   To ensure collection of assigned delinquent portfolio
•   To manage the organization’s relationship with its clients assigned to him
•   To execute any other functions as may be assigned by the Branch Manager and other superiors

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first degree or HND in marketing with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

•   High Sense of comprehension and  initiative
•   Resilience to handle difficult customers
•   Ability to comply with due diligence and company procedures
•   Good Communication and interpersonal skills
•   Good people management and persuasive skills
•   Ability to drive with a valid driver’s license B/C
