We are looking for a Logistic Manager to ensure the coordination purchasing, warehousing, distribuiton, forecasting of good (all logistic for the project)

Responsibilities

Our future recruit will have some of the following activities

Operation Logistics

•   Distributes resources and means related to the logistics activity (human, technical and equipment)
•   Checks that transported goods and equipment comply
•   Assures that work deadlines are respected
•   Guarantees traceability of the merchandise
•   Cooperates with customs authorities to verify container contents
•   Records and processes any dysfunctions related to the request and to performing logistics services
•   Manages the equipment on site and plan periodic maintenance
•   Manages stock using the computer system

Procurement and Transit

•   Defines the need to issue a call for bids, Takes account of objectives given in the request form (Planning, Supplies to be consulted, specification) in the call for bids
•   Aligns bids with suppliers, technically and commercially
•   Analyses offer and negotiation
•   Writes orders and gets them signed and verifies orders and s/he ensure that there are signed by authorized persons
•   Monitors the order
•   Checks supplier invoices and identifies nonconforming invoices
•   Makes an annual evaluation of local supplies, based on services provided
•   Monitors transit of purchases made
•   Supervises and organises the activities of his/her team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   5 years minimum of experience in Logistics Department
•   5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
•   English and French speaking
•   Good working knowledge with the office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•   Good working knowledge with MS Office or Autocad would be a plus
