A fast growing Ghanaian enterprise development, management, marketing and training firm  located in Accra and providing services(training, coaching & consulting, strategic business planning and management, business start-ups and incubation management, commercialization of both private and public firms including privatization, parastatal reform and restructuring) to local and international clients  is  looking for qualified professionals with entrepreneurial orientation and deeper understanding of the Ghanaian business environment to join it team as a management consultant.

Job Summary:

•   A passion for contributing to the growth and development of start-up and SMEs
•   Ability to develop strong or wining proposals and business plans for clients to link them to funding sources
•   A clear understanding of terms of reference to be able to respond to request for proposals and expression of interest
•   Assisting in the preparation of reports, and any other project documentations
•   Provides support, analysis and implementation of system or business processes/change management.
•   A desire to contribute to the growth and stability of the company
•   Strong presentation and facilitation skills at training and workshops
•   Carry out research, data collection and interpretation of data to come out with clear analysis and recommendations.
•   Analytical , Problem-solving and strategic planning ability
•   Supports business development and proposal efforts by contributing to the success of existing and potential new projects.
•   Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required skills

•   Business Plan and General Proposals writing skills, data collection and analysis, reporting writing skills, research, reviewing  a good command of the English language, diagnostic skills, presentation and facilitation skills, creative and innovative, flexible, ability to work in a team and meet deadlines, ability to work under pressure with or without supervision.

Key competences

•   Project management, strategic planning, financial management, strategic thinking, monitoring and evaluation, marketing, understanding of the Ghanaian business environment, entrepreneurship, coaching and mentoring, familiar with Microsoft Office, SPSS, CSPro and STATA.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A good first degree or a professional qualification in management, marketing, finance, operations management, project management or a related field. A  Post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage
•   Minimum of 2 years of consulting and/or relevant work experience.
•   A thorough knowledge of private sector and experience in working on donor funded project.
•   Good written and oral command of the English language
•   Experience working in a consulting firm is preferred.
