A reputable educational institution in the Central Region of Ghana is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced people for the following roles: Manager, Marketing and Community Relations

Purpose

• The jobholder is responsible for developing a strategy and programs to represent the university favorable developing relationships in the community to increase to the community

Essential Duties

• Manage the logistics and administrative functions of requests including, scheduling of events and event communications, grant and sponsorships payment process, record keeping and relationship building
• Contribute to the strategy of the University and community outreach focus
• Analyse data, metrics, demographics and reports to support community outreach focus
• Create, maintain and steward relationships with media
• Develop and implement internal communications channels, including university intranet site and various internal sites
• Coordinate and implement initiatives and events, including workplace giving campaigns, ongoing drives for charitable organisations and university related activities and events
• Organise and participate in volunteer programmes to enrich the university's reputation and image within the local community
• Promote awareness about educational products, including live workshops, e-totorials, publication
• Manage the production of marketing materials, arrange the effective distribution of
• Marketing materials and email campaigns to promote educational products
• Assist in the corporate social responsibility programmes through establishment of local partnerships and community outreach efforts
• Conduct market research
• Develop and distribute materials related to charitable giving and community relations both internally and externally

Qualification Required & Experience

• Must have a Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing, Public relations, Communications, community relations, digital marketing or ecommerce
