A reputable commodities and transport company is advertising for the following vacant position: IT Manager

Job Summary

•   Direct, manages, supervises and coordinates the activities and operations of the IT Department including hardware, software, network, telephone and computer systems administration, identify recommends, develops, implements and supports cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the company, prepares bid specifications and analyzes bid proposals for computer and network equipment and software.

Qualification Required & Experience

Entry Requirements

•   Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business, communications or related field with evidence of continuous professional development in an IT role
•   MBA or equivalent (MBA) or equivalent (added advantage)
•   8-10 years of relevant technical experience
•   Proficient knowledge in the following areas: Computer hardware systems and programs, computer networks, network administration and network installation, computer troubleshooting, computer viruses and security and e-mail and internet programs
•   In-depth knowledge and hands on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV or any related Enterprise software
•   Knowledge in Telephone Systems especially with IP Telephony
•   Professional certificates in ITIL, MCSA, and Web management would be an advantage
•   Experience in Wide Area Network configurations will be an advantage
•   Age Limit: Between 35 - 40 years

Location: Tema (however depending on the exigencies of the business, the incumbent may be transferred from one job location / country to another)
