The Golden Beach Hotels (GH Ltd), Parent company of three reputable Ghanaian owned Hotels located in Greater Accra, Central and Western Regions is seeking to recruit the following positions:

Job Title: Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures best client service is available through communication among the team, cross training within the department and appropriate offce coverage
• Works with sales managers to ensure understanding of sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy for the various segments
• Works with management team to create and implement sales plan that aims at adressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment led by the DOS
• Ensures hotels meet or exceeds budgeted goals
• Utilises company profile database to determine geographic areas for travel agent calls while maintaining top and existing travel agent accounts
• Organises travel agent month and travel agent appreciation rates
• Assists with the development and implement of promotions, both internal and external and creates a focus on attracting new business
• Supervises update of sales strategies & sales plans and ensures sales and marketing managers and the general managers own the strategies and plans
• Assists the sales and marketing managers to build long-term, value based customer relationships that enable the achievement of hotel sales objectives
• Recommends monthly room nights target goals for sales team members
• Develops and sends informative press releases to targeted lists highlighting all activities and promotions
• Oversees and ensures update of rates, promotions on hotel website, OTA's (Online travel agents), GDS etc without any rate parity
• Evaluates and drives the hotels participation in the various sales channels, Market Sales, Event Booking Centres, Electronic lead channels etc.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM). MBA Marketing is an added advantage
• 5 to 6 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area and a minimum of 3 years in a senior sales role
