Job Vacancy For Marketing Officer / Business Development Manager At Aviation Social Centre Ltd
Aviation Social Centre Ltd, Ghana's foremost Fitness & Recreational Centre is seeking to engage the services of a young, dynamic and energetic individual for the position of Marketing Officer/Business Development Manager
Job Purpose:
Plans, directs and coordinates the marketing of the Centre's various products and/or services.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
• Establishes marketing goals to ensure the Centre achieves its vision of being the premier provider of international standard of fitness & recreation.
• Develops and executes- marketing plans and programs, both long and short term to ensure membership growth and patronage.
• Plans and oversees the Centre's advertising and promotional activities, including print and electronic by working with design companies and overseeing copywriting, design, layout, paste up and production of promotional materials.
• Required to organize sponsorship, advertising and publicity for the Centre's special events.
• Must regularly identify target markets to promote the Centre's products and services.
• Must identify and develop new products for the Centre.
• Conducts regular marketing and customer surveys on current and new product concepts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Recommends changes in basic structure and organization of marketing team to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives assigned to it
• Prepares and presents weekly marketing activity reports to Management.
• Any other duties us assigned by the General Manager.
Qualification Required & Experience
The right candidate must possess the following:
• A university degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 3 year's experience in a similar position; preferably in entertainment, media or in the hospitality industry.
• Must be able to work under pressure with little or no supervision.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. .
• Must be a team player.
• Have an outgoing personality.
• Must have a clean driver's license.
• Must be willing to work long hours, some weekends and public holidays.
• An interest in sports and fitness activities will be an advantage.
• Excellent networking and people management skills.
• Must be proficient in the use of a computer and its related software applications.
