Job Vacancy For Marketing Promotions Director
We are a Technology driven company operating in Africa. The company desires to recruit senior level, highly competent, result-oriented, talented and self-motivated individuals with excellent track record of achievement in sectors like FMCG, Telecommunications, Banking etc as Directors for Sales for its operations in Ghana, Rep of Benin and Senegal.
Title: Marketing Promotions Director (REF: MPD)
Responsibilities
• Lead cross-functional and/or cross-channel teams to develop integrated launch programs, product-related marketing opportunities or marketing promotions from conceptualization through commercialization and launch, including product and packaging
• Flawlessly initiate, implement and execute marketing strategies to support business objectives
• Build strong relationships with relevant parties to ensure marketing message consistency and adherence to brand objectives
• Apply consumer insights and market research to gain understanding of consumers, environment and channel needs for the company's products and determine new marketing and product opportunities
• Monitor the domestic and global marketplace for new product innovations, competitors, lifestyle trends and emerging technologies
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field. An MBA will be an added advantage
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships with partners
• Strong strategic orientation, leadership, interpersonal, critical-thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of marketing and promotional channels in local and international markets
• Experience in working with cross functional teams and ability to carry them along in driving marketing initiatives
• People management experience, including proven ability to identify and develop talents
• Above 45 years of age with minimum of 18 years of cognate relevant experience, at least 8 years of which must be at at senior management position in a blue chip company preferably in FMCG, Telecommunications, Banking etc.
