A leading pharmaceutical company is currently looking for an innovative, results oriented and self-motivated person to join our team as Mechanical Technician

JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the proper maintenance and servicing of all production machines at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Operates machinery and diagnoses malfunctions
•   Monitors operations of machines and provides instruction to other workers on its operations and maintenance.
•   Ensures maintenance and calibration of machinery
•   Ensures maximum uptime and minimum down time of machinery at the production floor
•   Any other duties that may be assigned by the head of Maintenance

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

•   Mechanical knowledge and use of mechanical tools and equipment
•   Good design skills for instruments, technical plans and drawing
•   Knowledge in various machine operations and manipulations
•   Good knowledge in mathematics

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Higher National Diploma or Advanced certificate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable institution
•   At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar role
