Job Vacancy For Mechanical Technician At Ghacem Limited
Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental requirement in the execution of assignments
• Ensure suitable and sufficient risk assessments are in place for all activities executed
• Carry out routine maintenance activities on plant equipment per schedule from the Head of Section; servicing, repairing, adjustment, and testing machines, devices. Moving parts and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles
• Diagnose causes of problems, and/or mechanical systems for the purpose of repairs
• Completion of failure and work order reports forms
• Review of project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements; fabrication, assembling and testing

Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of HND Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technician Part III or equivalent
• Minimum (5) five years working experience in a 24 hour continuous manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of production plant and production methods
• Awareness of safety and environmental issues, risk assessment
• Knowledge of condition monitoring techniques and the ability to undertake vibration analysis
• Competence in machine failure analysis
• Proven experience in Pneumatics and Control Systems
• Understanding of Power Transmission Systems
• High level computer literacy with excellent MS Office Suite
• Excellent report writing skids
• Excellent appreciation of engineering Blue Prints, Drafting, Laying out, and Specifying Technical parts and equipment.
