Responsible for national coordination and administration of the project "strengthening the capacity of non-state actors to improve FLEGT-VPA and REDD+ processes in Western Africa (NSA project)".

Contract details

•   Initial contract for one year, with a possible extension until the 31st of December 2020.

Qualification Required & Experience

At least an MPhil/MSc in any of the following fields:

•   Natural Resources Management, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Political Science, Planning or related disciplines.
•   Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience with FLEGT-VPA,REDD+ and related issues.
•   Expertise with project management; experience with EU funded projects will be an asset.
•   Ability to explore opportunities within the project and solicit funds to deepen project achievements.
•   Experience in working with CSOs, lobby and advocacy and /or capacity development.
•   Working proficiency in English, fluency in French will be an asset.
