Main Responsibilities

Job Statement

The Job entails provision of technical support and development of networks and server systems, to ensure available, efficient and robust ICT services

Key Responsibilities

• Network configurations and support covering: IP Addressing and sub netting, APS, managed switches and routers, cabling systems (fibre and UTP), firewall, web content filtering, intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS): Monitoring and traffic control/bandwidth management
• Data centre servers and storage system configuration: virtualization solutions, management of web servers (Microsoft IIS and Linux, Apache), DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc

Qualification Required & Experience

• BSc/HND in MIS, IT, Computer science or Telecommunications with at least 5 years post qualification experience in developing and maintaining an organisation-wide network spanning locations as well as data centre servers and storage systems infrastructure
• Professional certification, especially network certification and/or Microsoft certification
