Gastrointestinal Diseases and Endoscopy Centre (GIDEC) a new medical facility at East Legon is looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with a strong interest in endoscopy to fill the following positions: Nursing Officer / Staff Nurses / Healthcare Assistants (Auxiliary)

Job Summary

•   Manage the Endoscopy patients expectation while delivering high standard of nursing care and customer care service.
•   To participate in admission and discharge of patents.
•   To prepare endoscopy rooms and equipment needed oft lists.
•   To assist the endoscopist during procedures.
•   To help in cleaning and decontamination of endoscopes after receiving relevant training.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Qualified staff nurse with full registration with Ghana Nursing and Midwifery Council
•   The auxiliary nurse should have the relevant accreditation.

Skills / Attributes

•   Ability to administer medications including iv drug medications (or be willing to undergo training)
•   Excellent clinical skills and commitment to develop them willingness to work as part of a team
•   Basic It Skills
•   The auxiliary should be able to perform jobs as delegated by the other members of the team
