Job Summary

The successful candidate will be required to :

•   Spearhead the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning Application. (ERP)
•   handle back up, restore,execute scripts and archive data as part of deploying ERP
•   handle computer networking technologies and its concepts
•   handle IIS ( Web Server Management)
•   manage OS Servers
•   provide support in Web Based and Windows Based Applications
•   install and configure computer hardware, operating system, software, systems, network printers and scanners.
•   Resolve issues with computer hardware, operating system, softwares,systems, network, printers and scanners as and when they arise
•   Provide reports on executed tasks on a regular basis
•   Perform other duties as and when they arise

Qualification Required & Experience

The successful candidate must have/be:

•   BSc or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Applications, Commerce or Civil Engineering
•   a minimum of 5 years work experience
•   proficient with Computers
•   reasonable knowledge in Database Administration (MS SQL) and be able to handle back up, restore, execute scripts and archive data.
•   good understanding of Structured Query Language(SQL)
•   good knowledge of computer networking technologies and its concepts
•   a good knowledge in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems is an added advantage
•   IIS ( Web Server Management)
•   good knowledge in OS Server Management
•   good knowledge in creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted
•   good knowledge in Web Based and Windows Based Applications
•   good knowledge in the installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating system,  Systems, Network, printers and scanners.
•   up-to date knowledge of technology
•   good knowlegde in software development & deployment lifecycle and defect resolution process in particular
•   good analytical and problem solving skills ( defects analysis and reporting)
