A Multinational company seeks the services of an Offshore Crane Operator.

Job Summary:

•   A stale 3 offshore crane Operator will work in areas of competence, in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Facility's cranes during loading and discharge of supply vessels and for internal material transfer and operation.
•   He or She will also operate other facility lifting appliances onboard and will ensure operations within its safe working limits in accordance with the Safety/Facility Management Systems.

Job Description

•   Ensuring the correct operation, inspection and maintenance of cranes
•   Maintaining records of inspection and reporting any deficiencies to the services supervisor / superintendent
•   Ensuring correct operation of other lifting appliances and loose gear, inspect equipment / appliances for correct colour coding and reports any deficiencies found to the Services Supervisor / Superintendent.
•   To assist in the maintenance of lifting appliances, cranes, running gear, slings, shackles within the dedicated rigging loft
•   To assist in 3rd Party inspection and recertification of the lifting equipment where applicable
•   To carry out all workboat, mooring operations and other tasks associated with off-take tanker operations including floating hose assembly, disassembly and testing
•   Ensuring that the PFSO Waste Management Policy is followed
•   To erects and dismantle scaffolds as required, if qualified to do so.
•   Must be familiar with the company's HSEQ policies and understand designed emergency response duties

Qualification Required & Experience

Candidates must be in possession of the following valid certificates:

•   Stage 3 Offshore Crane Operators Certificate to BS7121-11
•   Basic Offshore safety induction emergency training (BOSIET) to OPITO standard
•   Offshore Medical Cert to Oil & Gas UK Medical Guidelines
•   Helideck Assistant (HDA) to OPITO Standard
•   VHF CAA Radio Certificate

Job Experience

•   Must have a minimum of 5 years work experience, preferably on FPSO's or in the offshore industry
•   Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in operating liebherr BOS Cranes
•   Minimum of 3 years experience in the maintenance of offshore cranes
