28/28 Rotation (12hrs duty)
12 months renewable contract

Roustabout is responsible for supporting the oil and gas operations.

Essential Duties include:

•   Abrasive blasting (to remove old coating)
•   Water Blasting (as above)
•   Airless spray painting
•   Hand painting/stripe coating
•   Tank Cleaning / de-mucking

Prerequisites:

•   Updated CV
•   Basic Offshore Safety Induction Emergency Training (BOSIET)
•   Offshore Medical Certificate Oil & Gas UK Guidelines
•   Painter Certificate/testimonial
•   Safety course certificate
•   Candidates should have good working experience in offshore rigs (2yrs+)

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must possess good reasoning ability
•   Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of him/her or others
•   Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be g and able to comply with all safety laws, regulations and company’s safety policies.
•   Technical knowledge not required but pursues technical competence through training, certifications, and work assignments
•   Working knowledge of the English language, with the ability to speak, read and write to convey information
•   Ability to think critically and logically to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
•   Capable of converting verbal or written instructions into productive action
•   Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
