Department: Security Section
Reports to: Head of Security
Direct Reports (Subordinates): Officers below incumbent rank

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and monitor operations relating to access and control of movement of persons into the University.

Duties:

•   Oversee and provide guidance on daily basis in the management of the operations unit.
•   Monitor and prevent encroachment of University lands.
•   Plan and execute day and night patrols within the university campus and its environs.
•   Supervise and provide refresher training for security staff on their duties.
•   Manage traffic on campus on daily basis and during official University functions.
•   Assist in the investigation of all incidents that may have a bearing on campus security.
•   Assist the Head of Security to maintain an efficient operations unit for effective security services.
•   Be prepared to perform any other tasks as may be assigned by management.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must be an Ex-serviceman of the Ghana Armed Forces or the Ghana Police
•   Service of the rank of a Warrant Officer or its equivalent.
•   Must possess a relevant professional qualification.
•   A degree will be an added advantage.
•   Must present a Discharge Book.

Age Limit : Applicants must not be more than 50 years

•   Planning, Organising, Team building, Assertiveness, Patrolling procedures and Supervisory skills and Interpersonal relations.
•   Must be disciplined and have good leadership qualities.
