Job Vacancy For Partnership Development Officer(PDO) At Christian Service University College (Kumasi)

The Partnership Development Officer’s responsibilities will cut across many fields notably, alumni relations, fund raising and development, public relations and enrollment management. He/She shall perform the following functions and such others as the President may delegate:

•   Promote University College’s Mission, Vision and Core Values and traditions of the University College.
•   Maintain an aggressive schedule of contacts with corporate and foundation representatives, keep solicitation activities, and interpret corporate and foundation interest to the University College constituents.
•   Manage the overall imaging and marketing of the University College, including the designing of annual report, brochures and advertisements  (e.g. Dairies, news releases, documentaries)
•   Be responsible for all regular University College publications including newsletters, magazines, official programmes (e.g. Matriculation and Graduation), news services, and news releases to the local media.
•   Serve as the Chief Fund Raising Officer, negotiate and maintain relationships with financial institutions in major gift solicitation, and secure funds from foundations and corporation for the University College.
•   Serve as the major liaison between the University College and its alumni and perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the President.

THE PERSON

•   Shall be responsible to the President.
•   Must have the ability to express him/herself clearly in both writing and speech.
•   Must possess high standard of integrity.
•   Must be able to identify and interpret policies and programmes of Christian Service University College and execute programmes of action.
•   Must have good interpersonal skills.
•   Must have good negotiation skills.
•   Must have fund-raising capabilities.

Qualification Required & Experience

The Person:

•   Must be a committed Christian.
•   Must possess a good Master’s degree in Communications or Public Relations.
•   Must have a minimum of three years’ post qualification experience.
•   Must possess the ability to work independently with little supervision and strong organizational and motivational skills.
•   Ability to communicate in French will be an added advantage.
