The Role
Under the Supervision of the Director, The successful candidate will assist in making short, medium and long-term decisions about the management and development of all company infrastructure. The sucessful applicant will be required to perform the following functions among others:

•   Preparation of Physical and Company land use plan guide
•   Oversee specialised planning functions such as large-scale company new premises development proposals and environmental studies
•   Assist in the review of various company site development applications
•   Develop company site planning stufies and reports in support of new and updated site plans, programs and regulations
•   Review or assist in the review of development proposals and site plans by investors for conformance with codes, plans and regulations of Ghana.
•   Preparation and presentation of detailed reports on site development proposals to management
•   Evaluate or assist in the evaluation of zoning, rezonings, site plans, special use permits and other proposals
•   Work with other stakeholders such as Town and Country Planning, airlines, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Roads and Highways, private developers etc. in developing site neighbourhood plans
•   Evaluate potential sites and/or conditions of existing locations for the purpose of determining that they meet all project needs and specifications.
•   Monitor and reviewing the work of consultants hired for planning studies
•   Conduct field evaluations and assessments.

Qualification Required & Experience

Technical Skills & Competencies

•   Applicant must possess a Bachelor of science (BSc) Planning or its equivalent from recognized institution with at least eight (8) years post-qualification experience
•   Applicant must be a registered member of the Ghana Institution of Planners or relevant recognised professional body.
•   Applicant must be computer literate (Microsoft Office applications econometric or transportation modeling, database management, or GIS) with excellent writing and analytical skills. Must not be more than thirty five (35) years by next birthday.
