Job Title: Plant/Factory Manager

Job Summary

• To take the responsibility of leading the technical resources team and effectively co-operating and coordinating operations in a cost-effectively manner that's consistent with quality requirement.

Job Description

• Manage daily operations in the plant and ensure safety and efficiency
• Planning production meetings, workers schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintaining product activities
• Observing the effective maintenance of safety rules and standards in the company by the workers
• Managing time-lines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory time-lines and goals
• Ensure that the product effectively satisfies the quality level ordered by client
• Ensure the effectual adopting of new programmes and policies and providing training in order to meet improved requirements ordered by clients
• Executing factory manufacturing strategic plan and aligning it with general strategy
• Supervising quality standards and enforcing quality control programme
• Collaborating with sales agents, vendors and financial company to ensure the successful run of receiving and shipping schedule
• Collaborating with other managers to find best practices and best solution
• Working with contract clients on matters concerned to their product starting from release to final shipment
• Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training necessities of production and maintenance personnel
• Test and monitor plant processes
• Remain in compliance with facility ISO standard and all HSE guidelines
• Prepare, analyse and coordinate the issue of productions and performance reports
• Control cost to achieve company budget goals
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance programme

Qualification Required & Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in engineering
• A second degree in Business Administration or Management will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in an edible oil processing institution
