Job title: Executive Director - Performance Monitoring & Evaluation (PME)

Purpose:

• To support the Executive Director of BAS in employing best practices in corporate governance, human resource management/organisational development, financial management, operations management, as well as marketing, with special emphasis on customer services delivery by the state enterprises while ensuring accountability to all stakeholders

Principal Responsibilities

• Effectively assist in the management of human resource of the state enterprises
• Effectively analyse and help in evaluating the financial statements of the state enterprises
• Effectively manage customer services and service delivery of the state enterprises
• Assist in the improvement of the capacity of management of the state enterprises
• Assist in the improvement of corporate governance practices and financial reporting of the state enterprises
• Assist in the increase of financial flows to the government

Qualification Required & Experience

• A first degree in Accounting, Engineering, Economics or a related subject plus a postgraduate qualification
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a reputable organization with 3 years of which should be in a senior management position or MBA with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience

Accountabilities

• Accountable to the Executive Director of Business Advisory Services Unit for proper performance of responsibilities
