Job Summary

To provide administrative support and efficient secretarial services to the Council.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Covers meetings and produce reports.
•   Drafts routine letters for superiors
•   Coordinates the work schedules of the Supervisor and manage their diary.
•   Facilitates the organisations of meetings for the superior.
•   Ensures safe keeping of confidential documents of the Supervisor.
•   Manages the office of the superior
•   Keeps accurate record of movement of files and correspondence of the superior
•   Answers, screens and transfers telephone enquiry
•   Receives, screens and keeps records of visitors and clients to the Council

Qualification Required & Experience

•   HND/ Diploma in Secretaryship and Management or its equivalent professional qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.
•   A minimum of three (3) years post-qualification relevant work experience in a reputable organisation with ninety (90) words per minute.

•   Knowledge of Business Communication systems.
•   Good communication and Public Relations skills.
•   Relevant Computer software.
•   Leadership and organisational skills.
•   Problem solving and analytical skills.
•   Ability to speak at least one other international language, preferably French.
•   Integrity and ethics
