Job Vacancy For Process Operations Trainer At Perseus Mining Ghana Ltd (Ayanfuri)
Perseus Mining is a dual listed (Australia, Toronto) gold miner and explorer focused on the West African region. Perseus Mining (Ghana) Limited (PMGL) has recently commissioned the world-class Edikan gold project in the Western Region of Ghana.
Edikan Gold Mine (EGM) has a current mining reserve of 3.3M oz of gold from a resource base of 4.3M oz. The Edikan processing facility has been designed as a 5.5Mtpa processing facility with the ability to expand this to 8Mtpa in the future. The plant is capable of producing at a rate of 220-270,000oz gold
Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will report to the Process Operations Supervisor and will have the following responsibilities:
• Assist with the process plant compliance training as required;
• Individual field based coaching with area process operators;
• Undertake field competency based training and assessment;
• Assist with the development of field training material in conjunction with the Process Training Supervisor - Compliance and Document Control;
• Assist with updating training material and SOPs for process area operations training;
• Attend and actively participate in monthly safety meetings
• Participate in Plant Safety Inspection; and
• Ensure all schedules are adhered to and all-training sessions are delivered on time
Qualification Required & Experience
• High school Education,
• Ability to manage documentation and keep up to date training records,
• Minimum of 5yrs plant operating experience at operating mine sites,
• Hands on Process Operator experience in Gold Processing Plants, and
• Experience in Process Plant Supervisory.
