The Role

The professional services manager will be responsible for the analysis, definition, refinement and documentation of service delivery offerings

Key Areas of Focus Include

•   Lead best practice activities for Service Delivery
•   Co-ordinate work flow between Hysen’s external customers and the service delivery unit of Hysen.
•   Effectively and efficiently manage and resolve customer problems in a speedy and professional manner
•   Set deadlines and manage workload of the professional services team
•   Serve as escalation point for all matters related to professional services
•   Identify opportunities to create value added services, products and procedures
•   Develop project opportunities with new and existing clients
•   Insure that projects are completed on time according to specification, standards and budget.
•   Provide training, ensure employee development, set goals nd objectives, monitor and review performance and provide management with feedback to grow and improve employee sklls
•   Manage and motivate the Service Delivery Team for maximum effectiveness
•   Identify, develop, launch and manage initiatives for continuous improvement of the team's performance and service offerings
•   Control equipment and spares movement

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Good University Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
•   Six to eight years related experience in IT Management
•   Three years plus managerial experience in IT Con suiting firm
•   Ability to do multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
•   Passion for technical quality and excellent client service
•   Excellent skills in critical and conceptual thinking
•   Excellent skills in client problem solving and project management
•   Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•   Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with both clients and subordinates
•   Ability to build lasting relationships at all levels of the organisation and with clients
•   Solid understanding of issues involved in delivering, deploying and supporting interrelated group of products
•   High level of motivation and energy
