Job Vacancy For Programme Manager (Global Fund) At Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG)



The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), an NGO and a member of the International Planned Parenthood

Federation (IPPF), and the leading provider of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) information and services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The person will carry out the following duties in close collaboration with the Supervisor and other stakeholders.

•   To plan, coordinate and oversee the implementation of the Global Fund Project.
•   To support the Director of Programmes (DP) in the monitoring and supervision of the Association's programmes
•   To develop proposals for funding
•   To assist the Director of Programmes in collating and finalizing project reports and    programme documents
•   To ensure that project agreements are adhered to
•   To assist the Director of Programmes in the planning and preparation of Annual Programme Budget (APB)
•   Assist the Director of Programmes in providing technical support to the Zonal Managers
•   To ensure that project data and information are properly documented    '
•   Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have a Masters degree in the Social Sciences/Population Studies/Public
•   Health or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years relevant working experience; three (3) of which should have been in key project management position.

THE PERSON

•   Excellent managerial, analytical and quantitative skills.
•   Good knowledge in computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
•   Very good interpersonal and human relations.
•   Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills.
•   Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
•   Must have high sense of responsibility and be able to take initiatives.
•   Must be able to travel at short notice.
•   Ability to work for long hours and under pressure.
