The Role

Under the supervision of the Director, the successful candidate will manage all costs relating to infrastructural projects (building and civil engineering). The successful applicant will be required to perform the following functions among others:

•   Preparation of Bills of Quantities and Tender / Contract Documents
•   Evaluation of works and Services to ensure value-for-money.
•   Preparation and validation of contractors / consultants payment certificates
•   Negotiation with contractors and consultants on their rates, quantities and fees
•   Preparation of Sectional Budgets
•   Preparation of financial reports for projects
•   Assist in Contract Administration
•   Assist in the settlement of contractual dispute
•   Assist in procurement and tendering processes
•   Assist in the Evaluation of Tenders
•   Allocation and supervision of subordinate's work

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicant

•   Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc) Building Technology or its equivalent from recognised institution with at least eight (8) years post-qualification experience
•   Applicant must be a member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors or relevant recognised professional body and have adequate knowledge of procurement procedures of the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663).
•   Must be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its equivalent from a recognized institution
•   Applicant must be computer literate (Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project) with excellent writing and analytical skills
•   Must have good interpersonal and supervisory skills. Must not be more than thirty five (35) years by next birthday.
