Job Vacancy For Quality & Compliance Officer At Total Petroleum Ghana Limited



Purpose

To implement and deliver continuous improvement in the Quality Management System and Compliance of Total Petroleum Ghana Limited

Main duties

As Compliance and Quality Officer, you will

•   Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008)
•   Ensure that QA targets are achieved
•   Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
•   Carry out regular site inspection to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
•   Promote Quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organisation.
•   Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
•   Keep records of inspections, findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
•   Identify relevant quality-related training needs and organize training for stakeholders.
•   Collate and analyze performance data and charts against defined parameters.
•   Provide support in the training, certification and record keeping
•   Train/Induct new and transferred employees on quality and compliance issues.
•   Ensure that developed methods for improving security policies, processes and practices are implemented.
•   Assist HSEQ Manager to review security management to ensure a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, customers and others.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of a degree (BSc.) in Engineering.
•   A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position in a reputable company.
•   ISO auditor certification will be an advantage
•   Must possess a Valid Driver’s license and have the ability to drive over long distances.

Desirable

•   Professional Membership
•   Experience of carrying workplace investigations
•   Experience in managing security of premises

Skills/ Knowledge (Essential Criteria)

•   Good communication and interpersonal skills.
•   Experience in Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems ie ISO 9001:2008, 14001, ISSSRS, OHSAS etc.
•   Proficiency in MS office application (Word, Excel, Power Point etc)
•   Personal organization and planning skills
•   Capable of a rigorous analytical approach and result oriented
•   Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
•   Ability to explain findings and to convince the organisation to implement audit recommendations
•   Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally
•   Have the numerical skills to interpret statistics
•   Ability to pay attention to detail
•   Ability to work using own initiative within boundaries
•   Ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels responsibilities
•   Results-oriented and committed to continuous improvement
•   Must be able to work collaboratively within a team
