We are looking for a QC Manager to ensure the evaluation of a finished product for quality and reliability.S/he assist in the department of quality control standards

Responsibilities

Our future recruit will have some of the following activities

•   Writes all the contract documents: Writes paint datasheets so that inspected parts can be traced
•   Ensures the proper application of the Quality Assurance Policy. (Q.A.P)
•   Prepare waiver requests
•   Prepares Test Plan Inspections (T.P.I)
•   Ensures clear identification of equipment
•   Writes end of work files (D.F.O)
•   Writes end of project files (D.F.A)
•   Issues requests for non-destructive tests (N.D.T)
•   Monitors production (monitors welding, progress etc)
•   Guarantees the archiving of inspection documents
•   Makes visual checks of welds
•   Makes surveillance inspections and issues a detailed report observed anomalies
•   Ensure that welding procedures are posted in the workshop, updated for each production and explained to welders
•   Supervises and organises the activities of his/her team

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A certificate in Quality Management, International Welding Technician or engineer (IWT or IWE)
•   5 years of experience in Quality Department
•   5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry
•   English and French speaking
•   Good working knowledge with the office package (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
