Gastrointestinal Diseases and Endoscopy Centre (GIDEC) a new medical facility at East Legon is looking for enthusiastic and self motivated individuals with a strong interest in endoscopy to fill the following position: Resident Medical Officer / Senior Medical Officer

Job Summary:

•   Provide full outpatient clinical services
•   Assist the Consultant Gastroenterologist in the delivery of essential quality service to patients
•   Undertake task as delegated by the Consultant Gastroenterologist

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Relevant medical degree from an accredited medical School
•   Minimum four years post-graduation from accredited medical School
•   Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or readiness to obtain one prior to commencement of post
•   Experience in Gastroenterology and Endoscopy is not essential- there would be opportunity for training in Endoscopic procedures like Gastroscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and capsule endoscopy
