Our client, a three Star Hotel situated in Accra is currently looking to hire a Sales Executive to support their operations.

ROLE PROFILE

Selected candidate will be responsible for generating sales across all key revenue streams such as bed rooms; conferences and meeting and seminars; anniversary celebrations, weddings and funerals; afternoon teas, lunches and evening meals; and any special events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Listen to customer requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
•   Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
•   Arrange meetings with potential customers
•   Act as a contact between the hotel and its existing and potential markets.
•   Negotiate the terms of an agreement with the aim of closing sales.
•   Represent the hotel at trade exhibition and events.
•   Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations.
•   Feed future buying trends back to Sales and Marketing Manager.
•   Review your own sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targets.
•   Participate in “pre-conference” meetings involving the client, as well as relevant members of the operations staff.
•   Sales report and Activity report should be presented and discussed with the Sales and Marketing Manager
•   Produce comprehensive meeting function sheet in order to share detailed information with all involved departments.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor’s Degree/Higher Diploma in Sales & Marketing

EXPERIENCE

•   3-5 years’ experience in a similar challenging role or industry
