Job Description

•   Promote, develop the sales and installation of  pivot irrigation systems
•   Provide alter sales support and services to clients using pivot irrigation
•   Provide leadership on participatory water management approaches and irrigation options for farmers
•   Prepare ideas for innovative actions,including  water application techniques, irrigation methods and field layout promoting efficient and sustainable use of water and endure effective dissemination

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Advanced university degree in a relevant field for irrigation work (hydrology, water conservation, watershed management, etc);including adequate agribusiness knowledge
•   Minimum of 8 years consistent professional specialization in irrigation planning
•   Deep seated knowledge of Ghana and its irrigation sector and prospects
•   Demonstrated competencies at both policy and field implementation level
•   Ability to transfer knowledge and benefits derived from investment in irrigation
•   Must be willing and able to travel frequently around the country
•   Excellent computer skills, Ms word Outlook, Excel Database
•   Valid driving license
