A reputable 3 Star Hotel in Airport Accra invites job applications from highly qualified individuals to fill the following available position:- Sales and Marketing Manager

Role Accountabilities

•   Prepares and implements the hotel's annual marketing and sales plan
•   Forecasts occupany fluctuations and directs selling activities to maximize revenues
•   Responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet customer needs
•   Must be updated with the factors that influence the hotel industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of hotel's customers
•   Accurately forecasts occupancy changes based on changing market conditions
•   Work with the event management team to schedule marketing to attract additional conferences and events
•   Must identify factors that shape the hotel's appeal to customers as well as putting in place measures to maintain existing customers

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specification / Qualifications

•   A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Sales/Marketing/Management
•   Experience in negotiating and managing transactions from origination through to closure
•   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential
•   Highly self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude
•   Proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint
•   Must be willing to be reasonably available to meet demands of the business as required
•   Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession
•   A minimum of 5 years work experience at a managerial level
•   A working experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage
