Job Vacancy For Sales and Marketing Manager (10 Positions)
Key Job Responsibilities
Sales
• Facilitating sales and appropriate tracking of the same via various channels
• Counter retail and wholesales sales from the warehouse
• Sales to stockists (Van sales). Trip planning in economical and commercial way keeping in mind competitor movements
• Sales to major distributors if relations can be established (direct customers)
• Sales to major commercial estates via a relationship building initiatives, demos and continous follow up/quotations. Facilitated partly by Agronomy Team
• Sales by sms and mobile money platforms
• Obtaining approval for credit risk associated with the particular customers
• Periodic visits to the market to build relationship with the customers
• Ensuring EFD receipts are issued for each sale (cash/credit) at time of goods movement
• Ensuring system followed for keeping track of goods movements during sales processes. No goods to leave the premises without knowledge and proper recording of the branch manager
Promotion & Marketing
• Arranging seminars in the town center and surrounding villages
• Keeping a register of product demos initiated by the agronomists in that area, ensuring the same are followed up periodically, arranging farmers days tp showcase results and other demo related activities
• Pricing, packaging and quality issues coordination with country manager and coordinator
• Assisting in identification of fast moving items and possible new products to be added to the product line
Qualification Required & Experience
Skills & Experienced required
• Over years work experience retail/wholesale managerial and administrative oversight post
• Agribusiness qualifications (BSc/MBA) preferred
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office, Email, Excel and Word) and general IT literacy
• Spoken and written English skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Adaptable attitude
• Promotional mobility for other African countries

• A motivated self-person with strong interpersonal skills
